Alright. I did my very best to incorporate a blog with a comments section, but it just isn't happening right now. I didn't like any of the websites I tried to go with, so I'll revisit the idea later. From now on my diary entries will be off the site. While it's great to have the space to vent into the anonimity of the internet and I'm keeping the page in my archives to do just that from time to time, I'd like to be focusing on more site-specific, nostalgic, and light-hearted content. I kept a handful of posts from before on the Blog page because they're in line with the theme I'm going for. :)

I've been quietly doing little fixes and additions here and there. One new plushie page for Lammy is up. On the homepage I've added the Self-Insert Webring widget and a cute little Air Faerie graphic from Neopets when I took the Faerie Personality Quiz, which you can also access by clicking on the image.

Another new page! Sparked by an internet find (that I'll be writing a blog post about later), you can now find a page under the misc. section dedicated to the Barbies I still have. To start things off, I had a little photoshoot with two My Scene dolls and their rockin' beetle car!

A lot of people like to use buttons for linking, so I've added one that has a copy/pasteable code so you don't need to save the button and host it on your own site. :)
Have also switched over from having a separate updates iframe to just a scrolling text box that I like much better!

There's a new page! The Ephemera page (which can also be found under the "misc" section) will have photos (and possibly scans but I'm a bit :/ because of copyright stuff) of old paper documents, books, magazines, and anything else paper-y that I have tucked away. There are a few things up there already that I hope bring back a memory!

The nav buttons were broken/not glitter-ing but have been fixed. Whoops. [sweatsmile emoji] Also the music player, I realized later, only does snippets of the songs and it reminds me SO much of HitClips. Unintentional nostalgia win lol!! There will also be a diary entry at some point today that may or may not be live depending on when you're reading this. :)

The navbar gifs have always been wonky because I used a sparkly text generator that added a lot of extra space around the edges, so I've now cropped them in an effort to save some space because... I've added a music player! You can browse the rest of the site and it will keep playing since it's static in the navbar frame. There's even a new blog entry about it!

I've discovered Bravenet is still a thing?! I'm swapping over to their guestbook service and now have a cute teddy bear hit counter in the nav bar. While it's cool that they're still a thing, they were collecting some genuinely creepy stats that were publicly available so now we have a boring hit counter. [upside down smiley face]

Updated the about page as I realized I didn't have a ton of info on there; I'd basically just copied it from my tumblr page when I first started website construction with the intent to go back and edit it later... so now I have!

I've renamed the "blog" page to "diary" because, as I gear up to write a new entry, that feels more fitting overall for the stuff that gets posted there. So, depending on what time you're reading this, there is also a new diary entry lol!
ETA: Spiced up the homepage a little bit and I'm thinking of abandoning the iframe updates idea and just doing a text box because of the way Neocities shows updates on the feed. :)

Realized I should have watermarked the plushie pics in some way, so I went through and did that with all that I have so far. Pages for both Zoomernauts plush as well as for ALF are up, and I'll be working on the rest as I get time/when inspiration strikes. :)

Wow! I did it! I've updated the plushies page! So far only the two Zoomernauts actually link to individual pages (naturally they took precedence) but for the foreseeable future I'll be working on getting everyone their own page. I also need to make made! real thumbnails for the main plushies page, but have put html-scaled versions of them on there for now (it just takes a while to load). One step at a time!!

Added some new links today, and a whole blog post! I also managed to set up a (mediocre) little photoshoot area today and photographed a selection of my plushies, so tonight I'll likely be going through the photos, making thumbnails, and figuring out the best way to put them up on the site. I didn't want to have to do a separate page for each fuzzy friend, but it's looking like that may be the best option to avoid a page utterly bogged down with large images. As I was photo-taking, I also realized it might be fun to have a separate section of some of the non-plush toys (Barbies, Polly Pocket, etc.) that I've hung on to for so many years... we'll see!

Have been busy with multiple things over the past two weeks, namely tidying and trying to get a nice little spot set up for myself where my computer and sewing machine are both easily accessible in my own little space. (It's very pink!!) Plushie photos--at least some of them--soon, I hope! Also entertaining the idea of going through with a blog section; I'd scrapped it previously but in this day and age it's always nice to have a spot to be excited or to vent that isn't frequented by anyone who knows me lol.

Added links to some lovely Neocities neighbours, and added a guestbook yesterday. Trying to find the energy to start photographing plushies/come up with a fun way to do that.

Lots done! Lots left to do... Haven't touched the blog or the misc. pages yet as I'm still not quite sure what's going in there, but the links page now has some links, I got all the blinkies and stamps put up on the homepage (see below!) last night, and the about page is probably as complete as it's going to be for now. Plushies page is all laid out, but now comes the tiresome part of photographing everyone and getting them put on the page; still not entirely sure how I want to approach that, may look into some kind of gallery script for web pages.
